They live outside 365 days a year free ranging on pasture the way Mother Nature intended. I supplement their natural pasture & woodland foraging with certified organic feed to ensure they have the healthiest Non GMO diet possible.. Wyandotte chickens are on the Livestock Conservation Recovering List. The Wyandotte is a breed that was once listed in another category & has exceeded Watch category numbers but is still in need of monitoring.

I do not slaughter any of my birds for their feathers.

I clean my feathers using my own well water, Eco soap, vinegar & dry heat sterilization. I do not use toxic conventional products such as moth balls.

Feathers are hand packaged & labeled by me.

Feathers are from my smoking free home, although I do heat my home exclusively with a wood stove as I am almost entirely off of the grid & this is my only source of heat.

I do not sell feathers from endangered, protected, or wild species of birds. Such as Eagle, Hawk, Owl, Falcon, Song Bird, Parrot, etc. I exclusively sell feathers only from my own humanely raised farm birds on my small eco farm.

The ruler is 12" inches long. The ruler is pictured to help you gauge the size of the feathers. If you are unsure what size feathers you need for your project, I recommend you get out your project specs & use a ruler or tape measure to see the size you need in inches.

•XXS (Teeny/Miniature): Any size less than 1" inch
•XS (Tiny/Miniature): 1" - 1.49" inches
•S (Small): 1.5" - 2.5" inches
•M (Medium): 3" - 3.5" inches
•L (Large): 4" - 4.5" inches
•XL (Extra Long) 5" - 5.5" inches
•XXL (Extra Extra Long) Any size over 6" inches

Fun Fact: A rooster is a male chicken. A hen is a female chicken.
